Ground Control Station Technician

What you'll do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Ground Control Stations.
• Install and configure critical IT systems, communications tools, and mission-enhancing hardware and software.
• Execute maintenance duties in strict accordance with Air Force Technical Orders (TOs).
• Maintain accurate documentation in IMDS and conduct proper crew debriefs.
• Adapt systems on the fly to respond to evolving mission demands.
• Perform hands-on electronics work using blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Operate within a 24/7/365 rotating shift environment to ensure constant operational readiness.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years in aircraft avionics, SATCOM, or ground station maintenance.
• Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Familiarity with C5ISR concepts and strong problem-solving and diagnostics ability.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams and work with electronics.
• Ability to lift heavy gear and work in hands-on environments.
• TOP SECRET SCI clearance required.
• Experience maintaining Reaper aircraft or GCS systems, especially at the organizational level (preferred).
• Proficiency in Linux, multi-user systems, and Security+ certified to meet DoD 8570.01 standards (preferred).
