TL;DR · GPU Stack Unified Build & Release Platform Engineer

As a GPU Stack Unified Build & release platform Engineer, you will join the team responsible for streamlining the delivery of complex software components to customers. You will lead a tiger team to build a unified build and CI platform that treats firmware, kernel drivers, and ROCm as a single, cohesive deliverable rather than fragmented layers. This role involves making high-level architecture decisions, managing executive alignment on phased rollouts, and driving organizational change across multiple engineering teams. You will spend approximately half of your time writing code to solve technical problems while utilizing agentic AI tools like Cursor or Copilot. Key requirements include expertise in build systems, CI/CD infrastructure, GitHub Actions, and AWS environments. The role addresses the critical challenge of reducing coordination overhead to accelerate the release velocity of validated GPU stack software.

What you'll do

  • Define the technical architecture and roadmap for a unified GPU stack build and release platform.
  • Manage a tiger team of engineers to develop and integrate firmware, kernel, and ROCm components.
  • Write and commit code approximately 50% of the time to solve complex technical problems.
  • Align with executives to design a phased rollout that protects active product shipments.
  • Drive organizational change across multiple teams to adopt new workflows and shift-left development practices.
  • Integrate agentic AI tools into the engineering workflow to increase team productivity and scale.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of a unified CI platform to accelerate time-to-customer for GPU releases.

What we're looking for

  • Must be able to spend approximately 50% of the time writing code and making architecture calls.
  • Experience in technical leadership at the director or fellow level (preferred).
  • Expertise in build systems, CI/CD infrastructure, and software release pipelines (preferred).
  • Track record of driving large-scale infrastructure modernization across multiple teams with competing priorities (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate technical trade-offs as business decisions to executive stakeholders (preferred).
  • Experience with firmware, kernel, or embedded software release pipelines (preferred).
  • Fluency with agentic AI workflows and tools like Cursor, Claude, or Copilot (preferred).
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a related discipline (preferred).
