As a GPU Energy Modeling and Analysis Engineer within the Silicon Technologies group, you will support the power activity of high-performance, power-efficient GPU development. Your primary responsibilities include developing micro-architectural level energy models for early power estimation, what-if analysis, and performance per watt tradeoff analysis. You will analyze power consumption across the GPU to identify energy reduction opportunities, driving improvements across the entire stack by collaborating with driver, compiler, app, and architecture teams. You will also develop tools for measuring and visualizing GPU energy and conduct directed studies to prototype architectural solutions. Required skills include computer architecture knowledge, experience evaluating PPA tradeoffs, and low power ASIC design knowledge. You must be a proficient Python programmer or similar scripting language user, with potential experience in Tableau or Splunk.
