TL;DR · Government Contract Program Manager

The Government Contract Program Manager manages the customer relationship for strategic U.S. Government contracts and a portfolio of related programs within the semiconductor industry. This role serves as the primary point of contact for government customers, coordinating requirements, scope, schedule, risk, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations and security requirements. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product, operations, supply chain, legal, and security to align government program requirements with commercial semiconductor technology roadmaps. Key responsibilities include developing integrated master schedules, managing contract negotiations, and supporting business development efforts like proposal preparation. The ideal candidate possesses an active U.S. Government security clearance and expertise in non-traditional defense contracting vehicles such as OTAs or CRADAs. You will navigate a matrixed environment to resolve competing demands while ensuring technical objectives are met for national security missions.

  • Manage a portfolio of multiple programs simultaneously while balancing priorities and ensuring consistent execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, legal, and security to meet contract milestones.
  • Ensure strict compliance with government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS) and internal company policies.
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, risk registers, and status reports for leadership and customers.
  • Align government program requirements with the company’s commercial semiconductor technology roadmap.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks while driving corrective actions across organizational boundaries.
  • Support business development efforts including proposal development and identification of follow-on opportunities.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Experience managing U.S. Government contracts (DoD, IC, or other federal agencies) and knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • Experience managing programs within the commercial technology or semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with non-traditional defense contracting vehicles such as OTAs, CRADAs, or TIA programs.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment to deliver on technical objectives and contract milestones.
