Research Risk Management Vice President

What you'll do

• Supervise day-to-day risk controls related to the franchise, regulatory, and operations of the research business unit.
• Monitor existing control frameworks and develop new ones where gaps are identified.
• Maintain established policies and procedures while investigating and escalating policy exceptions.
• Lead projects focused on the supervisory platform and information security programs.
• Manage complex risk incidents by performing root cause analysis and establishing escalation paths with global colleagues.
• Implement department initiatives through operational analysis, change management, and documentation for global standardization.
• Assist with audits and compliance assessments related to the assigned coverage area.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in a Legal, Compliance, or Risk Management role.
• Experience supporting an Operational Risk framework with a focus on incident management is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high intellectual curiosity.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments while managing multiple initiatives and deadlines.
• Ability to facilitate communication across various functional groups and stakeholders globally.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with an interest in technology and automation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft platforms, Zoom, and Teams.
