TL;DR · Vice President - Banking & Markets, RIA Custody, Managed Accounts & Alternative Assets Platform

As a Vice President within the Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions team, you will lead the strategic vision, commercialization, and end-to-end execution of the RIA Custody Product, Managed Accounts Platform, and Alternative Assets offering. You will manage the product roadmap, oversee complex onboarding for SMA managers and TAMP partners, and drive innovation in digital-first capabilities like automated subscription processing and capital call tracking. Your role involves developing business cases for expansion, managing high-touch client transitions, and coordinating cross-functional teams across operations, trading, and technology to ensure institutional-grade standards. You will navigate the complexities of private equity, private credit, hedge funds, and real estate while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Success requires expertise in wealth-tech platforms, model delivery, and the economics of custody to solve infrastructure challenges for RIA firms and alternative investment platforms.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute the long-term strategic vision for RIA custody, managed accounts, and alternative assets platforms.
  • Design and implement commercial strategies to increase platform adoption and generate revenue through new products and pricing models.
  • Serve as the senior relationship owner for a portfolio of SMA managers, TAMP partners, and alternative asset managers.
  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding and operational lifecycle of complex RIA transitions and alternative asset fund structures.
  • Own the product roadmap by translating advisor feedback into scalable technical requirements and platform capabilities.
  • Drive the development of digital-first features for alternative assets, including automated processing and consolidated reporting.
  • Establish robust operational workflows for alternative asset custody, including valuation updates and position reconciliation.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for platform issues while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in RIA custody, asset management, or wealth technology.
  • Expertise in SMAs, UMAs, model delivery, or alternative asset custody infrastructure (private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real estate).
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives in a matrixed financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive platform monetization and business growth through commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the credibility to influence C-suite executives and external partners.
  • Ability to balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on operational execution, risk management, and governance.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced credentials (preferred).
