Generative AI Applied Scientist

What you'll do

• Design, train, and deploy large-scale multimodal LLMs across the entire lifecycle from architecture to deployment.
• Implement and demonstrate new human-centric user experiences using large foundation models.
• Develop robust, scalable ML models and APIs for integration into production pipelines and training infrastructure.
• Model complex scene understanding and nuanced human interactions based on device and environmental data.
• Build memory systems and reasoning capabilities to enable long-term adaptation and temporal context awareness.
• Generate semantically rich internal representations to support open-ended downstream tasks.
• Handle deeply interleaved streaming inputs to improve real-time interaction.

What we're looking for

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on machine learning.
• Strong research skills with first author publications in top tier ML conferences.
• Expert knowledge of SOTA large auto-regressive transformer models, multi-modal encoders, and representation learning.
• Experience with multimodal large language models (LLMs).
• Strong programming skills in Python using software engineering principles.
• Proven track record of deploying innovative ML technologies in production.
• Familiarity with developing ML for resource-constrained devices.
• Experience working with large cross-functional and diverse teams.
