What you'll do

Evaluate and adapt emerging research in generative AI and multimodal foundation models.
Conduct applied research experiments to bridge the gap between research advances and practical applications.
Transform promising research approaches into robust solutions for production deployment.
Manage large-scale data pipelines including data curation, preprocessing, and efficient storage.
Fine-tune and optimize large models for production and on-device machine learning.
Develop autonomous or semi-autonomous agents using planning, task decomposition, and multi-step reasoning.
Design and implement solutions that leverage multiple sensors and hardware capabilities.
Craft upcoming research directions for multimodal foundation models to inspire future products.

What we're looking for

Experience in deep learning with demonstrated work in at least one area of multimodal systems.
Proficiency in Python and a modern deep learning framework such as PyTorch or JAX.
Experience with rapid prototyping, reproduction, and validation of research ideas.
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
PhD or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field (preferred).
Publication record in relevant conferences or a strong track record of applying deep learning to real-world products (preferred).
Experience with foundation models, large-scale data pipelines, and fine-tuning large models for production (preferred).
Experience with autonomous agents, privacy-preserving ML, and collaborative environments (preferred).
