Gate-level IR/EM CAD/NLP Engineer As a member of the CAD Group, you will develop an analytic platform to identify and recommend solutions for signoff IR/EM analysis. You will build and implement machine learning and large language model applications to understand, explain, and interact with EDA software. Your daily work involves generating customized reports and dashboards to improve power grid integrity, automating IR/EM analysis and signoff flows, and collaborating with design groups on specific requirements. You will utilize Python, UNIX shell environments, and code revision control to develop object-oriented programs and algorithms. Key technical areas include NLP, retrieval augmented generation, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning. You will also address technical problems involving static/dynamic IR analysis, signal/power grid extraction, STA timing, and signal/power EM analysis.

What you'll do

Develop ML and large language model applications to interact with and explain EDA software.
Design and implement software interactions with extensive compute infrastructure.
Generate customized reports and dashboards to identify IR/EM issues and power grid solutions.
Automate and streamline various IR/EM analysis and signoff flows.
Support design groups with specific IR/EM requirements for various analysis flows.
Work with EDA vendors to develop solutions that improve efficiency and capacity.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Experience in developing object-oriented programs, utilizing data structures, and writing algorithms (preferred).
Experience writing machine learning algorithms, implementing NLP, or using LLMs in industry applications (preferred).
Experience with EDA tools, CAD flows, or Tool Flow Methodology (preferred).
Proficiency with UNIX shell environment, Python, and code revision control (preferred).
Knowledge of PNR implementation and/or EMIR analysis flows (preferred).
Experience in electrical engineering machine learning applications (preferred).
Experience with LLM fine-tuning, retrieval augmented generation, and prompt engineering (preferred).
