JOB TITLE: Gainsight Administrator
The Gainsight Administrator joins the Business Systems team to serve as the hands-on technical execution layer for the Gainsight platform, which functions as the system of record for the Customer Experience organization. You will work alongside a Business Systems Analyst to transform CX strategy into scalable, well-governed configurations for over 200 users. Key responsibilities include administering data integrity, managing user permissions, and designing C360/R360 layouts, Scorecards, and health models. You will build automated workflows using the Rules Engine and Journey Orchestrator, manage integrations with Salesforce and Snowflake, and configure AI features like Copilot. The role requires deep expertise in Gainsight tools, Salesforce data models, and data quality governance to support health-scoring models, playbooks, and reporting for leadership across the customer success lifecycle.
Administer and maintain Gainsight configuration, data integrity, user permissions, and technical documentation for 200+ users.
Design and build C360/R360 layouts, scorecards, health models, CTAs, playbooks, and success plans.
Build and troubleshoot automated workflows using the Rules Engine, scheduled runs, and Journey Orchestrator.
Configure and tune Gainsight AI capabilities, including Copilot prompts and Key Definitions.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership regarding health, adoption, usage, and sentiment.
Manage data ingestion and transformations using Data Designer and partner with teams on Salesforce and Snowflake integrations.
Support security and compliance by managing access controls and performing security reviews for new connectors.
Lead QA and UAT for new builds and manage ongoing system performance, hypercare, and platform releases.
What we're looking for
Require 3+ years of experience in Customer Experience or Customer Success Operations, Systems Administration, or Revenue Operations.
Require 2+ years of hands-on Gainsight administration experience.
Require deep expertise in Gainsight Rules Engine, Data Designer, C360/R360, Scorecards, CTAs, Playbooks, Success Plans, Journey Orchestrator, and reporting.
Require a solid understanding of Salesforce data models and the Gainsight and Salesforce integration.
Require strong analytical skills, data-quality discipline, and the ability to translate requirements into scalable system configurations.
Require clear communication skills in written and verbal English.
Require experience with customer intelligence, sentiment, or early-warning signal tooling (preferred).
Require Gainsight NXT Administrator certification (Level 2 or 3) (preferred).
