JOB TITLE: Full Stack Engineer Lead Java/React- Vice President The Investor Services division is seeking a Vice President to serve as a technical authority and leader for a global team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy next-generation applications powering custody, fund accounting, and asset servicing clients. You will lead architectural design, provide mentorship to developers, and perform hands-on development across the full stack. Key responsibilities include building scalable APIs, managing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing event-driven data processing solutions. You must demonstrate expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, Angular, REST, GraphQL, Apache Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. This position requires solving complex business processes and system flows within the financial services domain, ensuring all software adheres to architectural blueprints while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations and standards.

What you'll do

Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex, scalable, and resilient full-stack applications.
Perform hands-on development using Java, React/Angular, and REST/GraphQL to build backend services and user interfaces.
Design and implement real-time data processing solutions using Apache Kafka and other streaming technologies.
Manage containerization and orchestration by implementing best practices for Docker and Kubernetes.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure the rapid and reliable delivery of software.
Establish and enforce coding, testing, and debugging standards to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate goals into technical solutions and system enhancements.
Assess business risks and ensure all technical decisions comply with applicable laws and regulations.

What we're looking for

6-10+ years of relevant experience in Applications Development or systems analysis with a proven track record in technical leadership.
Expert-level proficiency in Java, including experience with frameworks like Spring Boot.
Strong hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React or Angular.
Proficiency in designing and building APIs using both RESTful services and GraphQL.
Proven experience with Apache Kafka for building event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines.
Demonstrable, hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration in a production environment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree (preferred); prior experience in FinTech or a large financial institution (preferred).
