What you'll do

  • Design and develop aircraft fuel systems for multiple air vehicle programs from concept through testing.
  • Perform detailed design of components including tubing, pumps, filtration, gauging, venting, and refueling systems.
  • Manage the full development lifecycle including component selection, prototype builds, and system integration.
  • Conduct qualification and testing for fuel system hardware across various aerospace platforms.
  • Execute 1D fluid analysis using tools like AMESIM or Flowmaster to support design decisions.
  • Develop high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms.

What we're looking for

  • B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience designing aircraft fuel systems or closely related aerospace fluid systems.
  • Experience supporting the product lifecycle from concept through testing and qualification.
  • Proficiency with Siemens NX or comparable CAD software such as CATIA, Creo, or SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and mechanical design fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience with supplier coordination, component selection, prototype development, or 1D fluid analysis tools (preferred).
