Frontend Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop custom, map-based UI/UX for autonomous system command and control.
• Design and build real-time interfaces to display sensor data and command physical assets.
• Manage large streams of data while maintaining high performance in a low-friction user experience.
• Create immersive image-viewing experiences across web and mobile 3D platforms.
• Collaborate with pilots and drone users to design interfaces that reduce cognitive burden.
• Translate end-user requirements into functional features while balancing engineering constraints.
• Develop software for flight systems and safety-critical functionality in real-world environments.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience developing frontend applications, specifically data-intensive or map-based systems.
• Ability to obtain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for the role.
• Background in Physics, Mathematics, or Motion Planning is desired to inform modeling and simulation.
• Experience developing UI/UX for multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments is desired.
• Knowledge of behavior trees, distributed communication networks, and message standards is desired.
