JOB TITLE: Robotic Software Engineer The Robotic Software Engineer joins the Maneuver Dominance team to develop operationally relevant, multi-asset autonomy. In this role, you will own mission autonomy systems and services, writing code to scale capabilities for customers while collaborating across teams to build and test complex functionality. You will triage issues, analyze metrics for debugging, and partner with end-users to translate needs into features. The position requires proficiency in C++ or Rust, with a background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics. You will solve problems involving networking, perception, systems integration, and data processing. The work focuses on making large groups of autonomous systems work together, specifically integrating drone platforms into a unified ecosystem to achieve critical outcomes in real-world environments through motion planning and distributed communication networks.

What you'll do

Own the mission autonomy systems and services deployed to customers.

Partner with end-users to turn requirements into features while balancing engineering constraints.
Travel up to 25% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world.

What we're looking for

Strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
3+ years of professional industry experience working with C++ or Rust programming languages.
Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis.
Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
Must be willing to travel up to 25% for testing and demonstrations.
Eligible to obtain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Strong background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling and simulation (preferred).
Experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems and deploying in real-world environments (preferred).
