What you'll do

  • Perform Java and C# programming for front-office trading software.
  • Define, gather, and review functional and technical requirements from clients.
  • Configure and tune the CRIMS application to meet specific business and technical needs.
  • Create, test, and correct inbound and outbound interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and determine optimal technical solutions with support teams.
  • Manage multiple technical initiatives simultaneously while meeting strict project schedules.
  • Perform database administration tasks and manage ETL tool integrations.
  • Serve as a technical expert for implementation and supporting projects.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must have Investment Banking trading experience.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the financial industry working for a consultancy or software vendor.
  • Proficiency in Java and C# programming is required.
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, and SOAP/XML messaging systems like MQ Series, MSMQ, Sonic MQ, Open JMS, or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools (such as Kettle or Talend), Windows/Unix environments, and RDBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL Server.
  • A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to travel 25-35% or more to client sites as required.
  • Experience with Azure, Snowflake, Perl, or Perforce (preferred); consulting background and OMS implementation experience (preferred).
