What you'll do

  • Build an automated rule inventory to track fraud rules' efficacy, coverage, and impact on client friction.
  • Develop analytical models to evaluate trade-offs between fraud control effectiveness and user experience.
  • Perform gap analyses to ensure fraud rules align with new product launches like crypto and digital assets.
  • Serve as the primary product owner for a technology platform that tests fraud rules for implementation issues.
  • Manage the project lifecycle of the fraud rules testing platform, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
  • Design and execute processes for continuous monitoring to identify and remediate fraud rule gaps.
  • Create and tune test cases and synthetic datasets to adapt to evolving fraud landscapes and behaviors.
  • Implement performance metrics to report rule efficacy and platform health to senior management.

What we're looking for

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in fraud rule implementations that balance risk with business enablement and client friction.
  • Extensive background in statistics and/or data science.
  • Proven track record of organizing large amounts of data to calculate performance statistics and documenting results for diverse audiences.
  • Experience architecting technology platforms requiring complex system and data integrations.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC with extensive experience in designing and performing software QA testing.
  • Ability to build analytics and automations using Generative AI, Python, SQL, and Dataiku.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
