Data Scientist Lead Vice President

What you'll do

• Lead a team of data scientists to deliver machine learning solutions that improve client outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Partner with product, strategy, and operations teams to frame business problems and define success metrics.
• Deliver end-to-end analytics from initial problem framing through insight generation for senior stakeholders.
• Develop scalable machine learning models and automated triggers to optimize internal operational processes.
• Analyze client usage across risk segments to identify relationships between risk appetite and portfolio allocations.
• Operationalize experimentation frameworks to evaluate product enhancements and inform business prioritization.
• Identify and develop high-value artificial intelligence and agentic use cases to improve decision quality.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical problem statements and clear executive recommendations.

What we're looking for

• BS Degree in an applicable STEM field.
• 5+ years of industry experience producing advanced analytics work.
• 2 years of people management experience, including performance management, coaching, and team development.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams of data scientists to deliver analytics and machine learning solutions.
• Ability to right-size analytical approaches from descriptive analytics and visualization through machine learning and AI-based decisioning.
• Hands-on experience applying statistical and quantitative techniques such as regression models, decision trees, and behavioral analytics.
• Proficiency in coaching a team on big data tools including complex SQL scripts, PySpark libraries, or Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience supporting wealth management, investing, or self-directed investing businesses (preferred).
