What you'll do

Design, build, and activate fluid systems for distributing gases, chemicals, and exhaust in solar cell manufacturing.
Manage cradle-to-grave projects including requirement definition, equipment procurement, construction coordination, and commissioning.
Develop modular system designs capable of being manufactured at scale for future production facilities.
Perform engineering analyses including P&ID development, equipment sizing, fluid/thermal analysis, and material selection.
Conduct safety hazard assessments such as FMEAs and HAZOPs to ensure compliance with hazardous material standards.
Deploy data acquisition and control systems for monitoring and controlling fluid facility operations.
Integrate fluid systems with manufacturing equipment to optimize delivery rates, purity levels, and chemical recycling.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on system performance metrics.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, aerospace engineering, or another engineering discipline.
At least 1 year of hands-on build or design experience including internships or competition teams.
Experience with fluid systems design involving gases or hazardous chemicals in manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
Experience in photovoltaic, semiconductor, or thin-film deposition manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD tools and fluid dynamics software for system modeling and diagramming.
Knowledge of safety protocols for handling pyrophoric materials and toxic gases/chemicals.
Familiarity with ASME B31.3, SEMI S2/S8 standards, and cleanroom HVAC integration.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have applicable status to meet ITAR requirements.
