Fleet Integration Manager, Surface Maritime

What you'll do

• Integrate surface platform subsystems including sensors, navigation, propulsion, and autonomy software into complete platforms.
• Develop and execute test plans for development, integration, and acceptance testing based on fleet operating experience.
• Manage day-to-day test operations including pre-mission testing, launch and recovery, vehicle tasking, and data analysis.
• Design test and demonstration scenarios that reflect real-world fleet operating conditions, procedures, and tactics.
• Identify capability gaps between platforms and existing fleet equipment to provide feedback to engineering and leadership.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of surface maritime platforms in the field.
• Author detailed test reports documenting internal and customer-facing test and evaluation efforts.
• Support local and offshore sea testing and operations, including multi-day offshore missions.

What we're looking for

• Experience operating unmanned or manned surface vessels at sea, ideally as a recent U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer.
• Familiarity with concepts of mechanical engineering, software development and testing, electrical engineering, and control theory.
• Experience in field test and/or operationally focused environments.
• Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and ability to use basic test equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including multi-day offshore operations.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and test (preferred).
