What you'll do

Develop low-level firmware and software for microcontrollers to support on-orbit spacecraft operations.
Create reusable device drivers and integrate system-level features into the existing codebase.
Own and manage complex firmware features of embedded systems.
Debug and troubleshoot issues across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries using tools like JTAG and oscilloscopes.
Select microcontrollers and peripherals while reviewing schematics with the electrical engineering team.
Develop modular capabilities to support DoD and IC customers in the space domain.
Manage multiple projects concurrently at various stages of development.

What we're looking for

Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
5+ years of experience in firmware/embedded software development for embedded systems.
Strong C coding ability specifically for embedded systems.
Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
Proficiency with common bus protocols such as USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, and Ethernet.
Ability to debug using JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscopes, and Logic analyzers.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
