Firewall Network Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect network and security products in secured enclaves including testing, validation, and selection.
• Develop long-term roadmap planning for the scalability of secure enclave systems.
• Define system security requirements such as authorization boundaries, security domains, and data classification.
• Design security interfaces, interconnections, and trust relationships between internal and external components.
• Implement security designs using COTS, GOTS, and open-source hardware and software.
• Harden and configure systems in accordance with Federal, DoD, and Intelligence Community guidelines.
• Coordinate security assessments to identify control failures and recommend corrective actions.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to legal restrictions for government contracts.
• Ability to obtain an active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of information technology experience.
• Experience with routing (BGP/OSPF), NAT, network segmentation, and IP address subnetting.
• Experience designing and managing firewall policies, IPS/IDS, and threat controls.
• Preferred: Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access.
• Preferred: Experience with DoD security implementations (STIG) and NIST compliance environments.
• Preferred: Certifications such as CCSP or CISSP.
