The ideal candidate possesses expertise in Oracle EBS processes, PS SQL code writing, and Microsoft Office products. This position addresses technical and business challenges within a highly regulated environment, specifically focusing on managing complex financial modules and ensuring accurate data management for accounting and tax systems.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT and Accounting personnel for system enhancements and fixes.
  • Support the accurate recording of financial information within Oracle EBS modules.
  • Identify and execute process improvement opportunities to enhance system functionality and ease of use.
  • Execute and distribute routine financial reports to relevant users.
  • Write SQL queries to extract and analyze financial data from the Oracle database.
  • Resolve business system issues by gathering and analyzing complex data sets.
  • Manage accounting, asset, and tax information within General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Project modules.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or IT/Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting an Oracle ERP.
  • Experience supporting financial and/or accounting functions.
  • Experience using PS SQL for code writing and database querying.
  • Familiarity with the software development cycle process.
  • 5+ years experience with Oracle EBS Financial Modules (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Project Accounting (preferred).
  • Experience in Government Contracting, Defense, or SOX-controlled environments (preferred).
