FIB TEM Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings.
• Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned semiconductor metrology tools and equipment.
• Develop and execute installation, calibration, qualification, and acceptance testing protocols.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and automation systems.
• Develop reliability improvement roadmaps and preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and service providers to manage maintenance and service contracts.
• Create and maintain operating procedures, PM instructions, and engineering documentation for product releases.
• Lead equipment upgrade, retrofit, and continuous improvement projects while assessing technical risks.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience supporting semiconductor metrology, analytical, or R&D equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, vacuum, controls, and automation systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with FIB, TEM, SEM, Atomic Probe Tomography, or thin film deposition systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of SEMI E10 standards, SPC, reliability engineering, Lean manufacturing, or project management (preferred).
