FIB TEM Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings.
• Serve as the primary technical owner for semiconductor metrology tools to ensure performance and reliability.
• Execute installation, calibration, qualification, and acceptance testing activities for new equipment.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and automation systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and corrective actions to maximize equipment uptime.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers and service providers to manage parts procurement and service contracts.
• Create technical documentation including operating procedures, test reports, and compliance records.
• Lead equipment upgrade projects and provide technical mentorship to technicians and junior engineers.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience supporting semiconductor metrology, analytical, or R&D equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, vacuum, controls, and automation systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis methodologies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred experience with FIB, TEM, SEM, Atomic Probe Tomography, or thin film deposition systems.
• Knowledge of SEMI E10 standards, SPC methodologies, reliability engineering, and Lean manufacturing techniques.
