This role requires hands-on experience in delivering technical support within SaaS environments for regulated public-sector clients, along with expertise in APIs, RESTful interfaces, networking concepts, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures. You must be an exceptional communicator capable of addressing both technical and non-technical audiences and possess deep knowledge in identifying root causes across various technological layers.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Datadog's 1000+ integrations.
  • Engage with public sector customers to identify and solve mission-critical support requests.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Account teams to validate bugs and advocate for improvements.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and serve as their escalation point.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to remove technical barriers and drive product adoption.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of technical support experience in SaaS for highly regulated public-sector customers.
  • Expertise in APIs, RESTful interfaces, networking concepts, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments and ability to diagnose issues.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deep expertise in identifying root causes across APIs, networking, cloud infrastructure, and OS layers.
  • Proven mentorship abilities and critical thinking skills for complex problem-solving.
