FAE - Embedded x86 Specialist

What you'll do

• Provide technical support and guidance to sales teams, customers, and partners regarding x86 embedded products.
• Lead technical discussions and resolve issues for platforms from the design phase through mass production.
• Conduct performance and benchmarking analysis to support new customer opportunities and win designs.
• Debug and optimize customer designs specifically for AMD processor architecture.
• Provide hardware and software recommendations to improve platform performance.
• Deliver technical training and presentations on AMD roadmaps to internal teams and external customers.
• Research and evaluate competitive platforms, applications, and emerging technologies.
• Support regional events and conferences through hardware demonstrations and technical presentations.

What we're looking for

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in a technical subject area like Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Broad technical understanding of the x86 product portfolio with a focus on embedded devices.
• Specialized knowledge of end-user hardware and software environments including Windows, Linux, compilers, and benchmarks.
• Strong skills in using AI to optimize tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills across hardware, architecture, and software domains.
• Ability to manage complex problems involving multi-disciplined, cross-functional teams.
• Preferred knowledge of system design, x86 processor technology, hardware design, embedded systems, or advanced PC technology.
• Preferred expertise in areas such as embedded software ecosystems, system architecture, APU technology, and AI flows.
