As a Factory Build Engineer (Starlink Production), you will join the team responsible for designing production processes and systems for manufacturing millions of Starlink user terminals, silicon packaging chips, and solar cells. What you'll do

Design physical and digital factory layouts to meet production rates of millions of units per year.
Perform floor layout designs, capacity studies, and product flow analyses to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate construction activities with internal teams and external general contractors.
Manage project schedules and budgets for capital projects while monitoring progress in real time.
Define business processes for manufacturing execution, inventory management, and material traceability.
Implement data acquisition systems for production metrics, quality controls, and safety protocols.
Identify trends to optimize product output, quality enhancements, and cost of manufacturability.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, software, industrial, or another engineering discipline.
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or industrial project management.
Experience with high-volume production for consumer goods or automotive products.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit models and knowledge of database structures and SQL.
Understanding of lean engineering and Six Sigma concepts.
Experience managing infrastructure projects involving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate findings effectively.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
