What you'll do

Own manufacturing subsystems from conceptual design through fabrication, commissioning, and high-volume production ramp.
Design and develop production equipment including structures, mechanisms, robot end effectors, and material handling solutions.
Perform failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), reliability modeling, and stress testing to mitigate potential failures.
Monitor performance metrics using data analytics to identify bottlenecks and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
Evaluate and select equipment suppliers while overseeing the installation and commissioning of vendor-supplied hardware.
Solve complex, open-ended engineering problems with a focus on speed of execution and scalability.
Develop design criteria and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system-level optimization.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, materials, or another engineering discipline.
At least 1 year of professional experience in mechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing.
At least 1 year of experience with CAD and FEA software packages.
Proficiency in 3D CAD (Siemens NX preferred) and Teamcenter.
Strong understanding of GD&T, mechanical engineering fundamentals, structural analysis, and failure modes.
Experience with custom machine design including electromechanical systems, end-of-arm tooling, motors, actuators, and linear rails.
Hands-on experience with mills, lathes, manual machines, and CNC machines.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have applicable status to meet ITAR export regulations.
