What you'll do

Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems including HVAC, DI water, chillers, boilers, and exhaust systems.
Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and maintaining critical facility infrastructure to minimize operational downtime.
Develop and refine preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all major mechanical systems.
Design and maintain distribution systems for process gases and liquids while ensuring safety standards.
Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, including expansions and new installations.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
Ensure all mechanical systems comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential system failures.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of experience in facilities engineering with a focus on mechanical systems in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
Expertise in HVAC, DI water, process water, chillers, boilers, and heat exchangers.
Experience with gas and liquid distribution systems, including piping, valves, and control systems.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations like OSHA and ASHRAE.
Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
