As an Executive Director - AI-enable Product Lead within the Global Banking Platform team, you will lead an Area Product Group responsible for the end-to-end delivery of core banking capabilities. You will shape product strategy and roadmaps, translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements, and partner with engineering teams to build high-quality platform features. Your daily work involves managing backlogs, prioritizing initiatives, and serving as a functional and technical subject matter expert to ensure scalability and operational stability. You will utilize AI-enabled product practices for discovery, prioritization, and backlog refinement while ensuring responsible AI usage in delivery. The role requires expertise in Agile methodologies, microservice architecture, and cloud-native technologies like AWS and Kubernetes. This position addresses the complex challenge of building a modern core banking platform to support diverse financial services across multiple business lines.
Own the end-to-end delivery and outcomes for core banking capabilities within the Area Product Group.
Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and technical specifications from design through implementation.
Create and manage the product roadmap while prioritizing the backlog against strategic, regulatory, and technical goals.
Serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert to deliver shared platform features and capabilities.
Act as the empowered day-to-day decision maker for scrum teams to resolve ambiguity and unblock delivery.
Apply AI-enabled practices to improve discovery, prioritization, and delivery predictability across the product lifecycle.
Communicate progress, risks, and delivery forecasts to stakeholders while ensuring transparency of sprint outcomes.
Drive the development of scalable, reusable, and operationally sound solutions that meet high quality standards.
What we're looking for
Proven experience leading complex platform or product groups in a regulated enterprise environment with accountability for delivery.
Demonstrated expertise in roadmap ownership, backlog prioritization, and Agile delivery across multiple teams and dependencies.
Ability to serve as both a functional and technical subject matter expert translating business needs into requirements.
Experience leading cross-team initiatives involving shared services, APIs, and reusable components.
Strong stakeholder management skills to resolve ambiguity and drive alignment between product and engineering partners.
Familiarity with AI-enabled product practices including analytics-driven prioritization and AI-assisted discovery.
10+ years’ experience leading complex product teams (preferred).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, formal software engineering training/certification, AWS certification, and core banking domain knowledge (preferred).
