What you'll do

Develop and maintain Python microservices to automate network provisioning and operational workflows.
Manage REST API endpoints and process YAML/Jinja2 data for switch configuration generation.
Design and implement automated test frameworks including unit, integration, and end-to-end regression tests.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines within OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.

Harden service components and improve Docker container configurations to meet security standards.
Develop monitoring and observability tools for mission-critical network infrastructure services.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience in back-end development with Python, including REST API design and JSON/YAML data processing.
Proficiency in Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
Working knowledge of Docker containerization and orchestration via Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Ability to design, implement, and document RESTful APIs using HTTP fundamentals.
Experience writing unit, integration, and regression tests in a production-critical environment.
Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Ansible, Chef, or similar configuration management systems.
Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, VLANs, switching, and routing.
