What you'll do

Implement and automate infrastructure solutions that support IBM Cloud products and systems.
Build and set up test automation and pipeline frameworks in OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
Administer automated CI/CD systems and tools for development and testing teams.
Maintain the compliance and security integrity of the cloud environment.
Develop alerting and monitoring systems for mission-critical services with internal partners.
Support the development of new capabilities and enhancements for compute infrastructure services.
Provide technical escalation support for other Infrastructure Operations teams.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED is required.
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science related majors.
Prior experience in development, computer hardware, or testing is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Proficiency in operating systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, Windows), virtualization, and container technologies like Kubernetes or Docker is preferred.
Working knowledge of programming tools such as Java, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Go is preferred.
Experience with infrastructure tools (Ansible, Chef), monitoring tools (Zabbix, Splunk), and collaboration platforms (JIRA, GitHub) is preferred.
