The Enterprise Data Governance Solution Lead, Assistant Vice President, joins the Enterprise Data and AI Office to advance the firm’s data governance framework, standards, and technology-enabled solutions. You will work with business and technology partners to investigate data discrepancies, document workflows, and define requirements for delivery teams. The position requires proficiency in SQL and experience with tools like Collibra, JIRA, and Confluence. Translate data governance policies and control requirements into scalable business processes and platform capabilities.
Map data flows and models to explain technical issues and business impacts to diverse audiences.
Document workflows and convert complex business needs into clear requirements, instructions, and decisions.
Analyze data quality metrics and trends to recommend specific areas for improvement.
Partner with delivery teams to define requirements, review solutions, and support user adoption.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data governance workflows.
Support regulatory and audit responses by organizing evidence and tracking outstanding actions.
Investigate data discrepancies between systems and operational reality to identify and resolve root causes.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Risk Management, Business/Finance, a related discipline, or equivalent experience required.
Experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks, data governance controls, or supporting technology solutions required.
Hands-on experience working with data, including using SQL or comparable tools to investigate issues and validate results required.
Ability to understand data models and flows to explain business impacts to technical and nontechnical audiences required.
Excellent writing skills to turn complicated workflows or technical findings into clear documentation and requirements required.
Experience with Collibra or similar data governance, metadata management, data catalog, or related platforms (preferred).
