As an Enterprise Architect within the Cloud Center of Excellence, you will lead the migration of on-premises workloads and legacy environments to AWS. You will utilize AWS services, VPC structures, Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon ECS. Technical requirements include proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Python, Bash, and PowerShell. You must possess a modernization mindset to re-platform applications and hold an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification to solve complex infrastructure challenges.

What you'll do

Build and automate an enterprise-class cloud environment on AWS.
Architect and optimize cloud workloads for resilience, security, performance, and cost.
Plan and guide the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS using tailored migration strategies.
Re-platform and modernize legacy applications by upgrading operating systems and re-architecting for the cloud.
Provide architecture guidance to SRE and DevOps teams regarding CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
Integrate security controls into every design, including VPC layouts and deployment pipelines.
Lead the development and automation of cloud services using deep technical knowledge.

What we're looking for

Proven experience leading migrations of on-premises environments and legacy applications to AWS.
Experience re-platforming, upgrading operating systems, or re-architecting workloads for the cloud.
Strong command of core AWS services, VPC structure, and subnet layout.
Practical experience applying security controls in AWS, ideally within a regulated industry.
Working knowledge of DevOps practices, Site Reliability Engineering, monitoring, and observability.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon ECS.
Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate at a minimum.
AWS Professional level certification (preferred).
AWS and Microsoft certifications (preferred).
Experience leading enterprise cloud migrations (preferred).
Experience automating large-scale enterprise application deployments in the cloud (preferred).
Serverless architecture experience (preferred).
