Director Enterprise Architect, Aladdin Engineering

What you'll do

• Define and maintain the architecture vision and target-state for investment, data, and operational platforms.
• Align enterprise architecture with business strategies to drive commercial outcomes across front, middle, and back-office domains.
• Establish architectural standards and approved patterns for cloud, data integration, security, and technology rationalization.
• Lead cloud and hybrid modernization strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory constraints and risk policies.
• Define the enterprise AI strategy and establish governance frameworks for ethical use and risk control.
• Manage the transition of legacy systems into modern architectures for trading, settlement, and reporting.
• Oversee data architecture to ensure high quality, lineage, and privacy controls across all firm assets.
• Develop remediation roadmaps to address technical debt and integrate platforms during M&A activities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture within financial services.
• Deep understanding of asset management domains including investments, risk, operations, and distribution.
• Proven experience in regulated, high-availability environments.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern design patterns like Microservices or DDD (preferred).
• Hands-on coding skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, C/C++, and experience with relational or NoSQL databases (preferred).
• TOGAF and cloud certifications (preferred).
