Engineering Technician Lead

What you'll do

• Provide technical oversight and coordinate technician staffing for climatic and vibration testing projects.
• Handle and manipulate high-value hardware with precision during environmental testing.
• Install instrumentation such as thermocouples and accelerometers on test equipment.
• Program chamber control systems and monitor data acquisition and shaker performance.
• Train junior technicians in thermal, dynamic, and vacuum testing procedures.
• Manage the lab's 5S program and perform monthly safety audits.
• Maintain equipment calibration status and manage laboratory supply levels.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering staff and internal customers to resolve issues.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma with at least 8 years of relevant aerospace experience.
• Associate degree and 2 years of post-secondary education with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting environmental test equipment, including vibration shakers, thermal chambers, and vacuum systems (preferred).
• Experience conducting MIL-STD-810 testing (preferred).
• Prior leadership experience with non-exempt employees (preferred).
• Strong communication, technical writing, presentation, and organizational skills (preferred).
• Active security clearance (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
