Environmental Test Technician

What you'll do

• Execute various environmental tests including thermal, dynamic, corrosion, and ingress testing on diverse products.
• Program test controllers such as WATLOW F4s and F4Ts for environmental testing.
• Operate electrodynamic shaker table control software to perform dynamic tests.
• Set up data acquisition systems for environmental testing procedures.
• Maintain capital equipment including environmental chambers, electrodynamic shakers, and data acquisition hardware.
• Update technical documentation and advance environmental testing training materials.
• Promote lab safety protocols and maintain high standards of organization in laboratory spaces.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of professional experience in an engineering technician capacity or similar.
• Experience running environmental test equipment.
• Familiarity with environmental test standards such as MIL-STD-810 and DO-160.
• Familiarity with Jira or other agile development software.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with NI Data acquisition system setup, LabVIEW, and Flexlogger software (preferred).
• Familiarity with VR software including VibrationVIEW and ObserVIEW for dynamic tests (preferred).
• Demonstrated sense of drive and ability to work in cross-functional teams effectively (preferred).
