Engineering & Technical Internship

What you'll do

• Apply classroom knowledge to solve real-world technical challenges and engineering problems.
• Execute "big meaty projects" that contribute directly to HP's product and service goals.
• Perform specialized tasks such as circuit design, software development, or hardware testing based on the assigned role.
• Conduct data analysis and root cause analysis to improve manufacturing or quality processes.
• Develop technical documentation and requirements for systems engineering and integration.
• Deliver executive-level presentations using storyboarding and professional communication skills.
• Manage ambiguous tasks and navigate unstructured work situations effectively.
• Influence ideas and actions of others through logical reasoning and relationship development.

What we're looking for

• Must have completed at least the third year of a Bachelor's degree or the first year of a Master's program.
• Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited university.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship.
• Preferred majors include Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Project experience demonstrating strong analytical, modeling, and research skills (preferred).
• Strong executive-level presentation skills including storyboarding, development, and delivery (preferred).
• Ability to work in cross-functional team settings and handle ambiguity (preferred).
• Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel (preferred).
