Engineering Program Manager, Siri AI Performance & Reliability joins the team responsible for the next generation of Siri, Apple's on-device conversational AI. This role operates at the intersection of latency engineering, reliability metrics, and release quality across iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. You will coordinate critical projects within the performance and reliability program, owning the cadence of performance reviews, regression triage, and executive reporting for latency and reliability. You will partner with engineering, QE, and data science teams to identify risks, manage roadmaps against release milestones, and drive resolution of regressions. Key skills include project management, data reasoning, and fluency with dashboards, telemetry, and profiling concepts. You will solve technical problems related to latency distributions and build-over-build trends to ensure consistent product performance.

What you'll do

  • Own the performance and reliability roadmap against key release milestones for Siri AI.
  • Provide regular status updates and executive reporting on product latency and reliability KPIs.
  • Run performance and reliability review forums to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive the resolution of latency and reliability regressions across component teams.
  • Identify regressions and reliability drops using dashboards, telemetry, and test summaries.
  • Marshal engineers, QE, and data scientists to root-cause and resolve critical performance issues.
  • Establish checkpoints tied to build milestones to ensure teams meet the performance bar.
  • Translate complex build-over-build data into coherent narratives for engineering leadership.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent project management skills including structuring programs with multiple interdependent workstreams.
  • Ability to read and reason about data and communicate findings clearly to both engineers and executives.
  • Ability to independently draft and present status, risk assessments, and executive briefings.
  • Strong leadership skills including mentoring, team-building, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
  • 3 years driving performance, reliability, or quality programs for large-scale software (preferred).
