Software Release Engineering Program Manager

What you'll do

• Define, schedule, and track the status of software releases across multiple teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for communicating release status and program health to leadership.
• Analyze bug data and key metrics to provide insights into program health.
• Coordinate and lead program-wide bug reviews with cross-functional partners.
• Track and prioritize high-priority issues, including seed-blocking and release-critical bugs.
• Develop and automate reports to manage the bug lifecycle and improve process efficiency.
• Enforce end-to-end integration and build processes across multiple layers of the software stack.
• Identify and implement improvements for program execution and operational workflows.

What we're looking for

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience project managing complex, multi-functional projects.
• Experience partnering with engineering and program leadership to navigate release trade-offs and communicate risk in high-stakes environments.
• Experience developing and releasing a consumer product.
• Solid understanding of software development practices and ability to navigate ambiguity while distinguishing urgent tasks from important ones.
• Concise, well-structured written communication skills and the ability to articulate information for diverse audiences.
• Prior experience in a hands-on technical role in software engineering and project management (preferred).
• Experience working in cross-functional roles spanning multiple software stack layers such as firmware, OS, rendering, or machine learning (preferred).
