TL;DR · Engineering Product Manager

The Engineering Product Manager joins the Sales and Partner Incentive Team to drive business capabilities for Cisco Sales and Services across planning, coverage, crediting, compensation, and reporting. This role involves end-to-end ownership of the Goal-to-Cash process, where you will design cohesive experiences from initial planning and quota-setting to final seller payouts. You will gather requirements, draft Product Requirements Documents, and manage project portfolios while performing data analytics to identify root causes for deviations from success criteria. The position requires expertise in order management, compensation, and sales performance management within a recurring-revenue model context. Key technical skills include experience with enterprise tools like SAP Callidus, Anaplan, Xactly, Varicent, or Salesforce Commissions, alongside AI fluency to improve efficiency. You will navigate complex crediting rules and incentive mechanics to build intuitive workflows for internal platforms and products.

What you'll do

  • Design cohesive experiences for the Goal-to-Cash process including planning, quota-setting, and seller payouts.
  • Translate business needs into clear Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and actionable user stories.
  • Conduct data analytics and metric deep-dives to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
  • Drive the operationalization of next-generation business models to accelerate go-to-market for recurring revenue.
  • Manage program risks and roadblocks to ensure operational readiness for Sales Coverage, Crediting, and Compensation functions.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap strategy, and organizational changes to leadership and federated teams.
  • Apply AI practices and tools to improve operational efficiency and user experience.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated leadership of multiple programs or medium-to-large functional teams with measurable outcomes.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in business or IT consulting, business operations, integration, or operations management.
  • Proven expertise in at least two business capability domains such as order management, compensation, sales performance management, distribution compensation, or reporting.
  • Hands-on experience running operations with product management discipline, including process improvement, organizational change, and systems management.
  • Experience managing project portfolios involving planning, reporting, and advising across concurrent projects with quantifiable results.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, information technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Deep expertise in seller territory coverage planning, complex crediting rules, and incentive compensation mechanics (preferred).
  • Experience with enterprise compensation tools or custom-built ICM platforms (preferred).
