What you'll do

Design and develop data, software, and technology solutions to address scientific and business questions.
Maintain, support, and evolve custom applications that connect various data platforms and systems.
Store, transfer, integrate, visualize, and analyze large and complex datasets.
Integrate diverse data sources using APIs, database connections, Enterprise Service Buses, and SDKs.
Implement new methods and technologies to promote a data-driven culture and improve R&D efficiency.
Present technical concepts and project progress clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Create and maintain technical documentation in compliance with GxP, data security, and software lifecycle standards.

What we're looking for

Degree in Computer Science, Bio Sciences, Development Sciences, or a comparable field with equivalent experience.
Five years of relevant professional experience for candidates with a Bachelor's degree.
Two years of relevant professional experience for candidates with a Master's degree.
Experience in software development and data engineering.
Proficiency in programming languages for data science, specifically Python and/or R.
Ability to integrate data sources using databases, APIs, Enterprise Service Buses, and Software Development Kits.
Good database knowledge, including basic queries and the creation of tables and views (preferred).
Very good written and spoken German and English skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
