Senior Engineer, Technology II (Data Engineering & Architecture)

What you'll do

• Design and implement cloud-native data ingestion frameworks and end-to-end pipelines using AWS services like Glue, S3, EMR, and Lambda.
• Architect supply chain analytical solutions using Apache Iceberg and Medallion Architecture to ensure data quality and lineage.
• Build and optimize AWS Redshift data warehouse solutions tailored for enterprise analytics consumption patterns.
• Implement Data Product-centric architecture and data mesh principles to improve data discoverability and interoperability.
• Translate complex SAP and planning system data structures into governed, analytics-ready products within a lakehouse platform.
• Lead and supervise a consultant technical team to ensure high-quality delivery and engineering excellence.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of experience; Master's with 6 years; or PhD with 2 years.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS Glue, Amazon S3, AWS EMR, and ETL tools like Informatica.
• Demonstrated experience with Apache Iceberg open table format for lakehouse architecture.
• Proficiency with AWS Redshift or similar modern data warehousing platforms.
• Proven experience implementing Medallion Architecture, Data Product frameworks, and data mesh principles.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain ERP systems (specifically SAP) and Blue Yonder planning domains.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark/PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Knowledge of data governance, cataloging (Alation or AWS Glue), metadata management, and lineage.
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as PowerBI (preferred).
