What you'll do

Perform EMC and EMI emissions and immunity testing on electrical systems and components.
Conduct antenna and shielding effectiveness measurements for aircraft and mobile systems.
Operate specialized test equipment including spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
Design and fabricate electro-mechanical assemblies, harnesses, and test fixtures from conceptual drawings.
Troubleshoot complex hardware issues and perform root cause investigations for EMI compatibility problems.
Document test results clearly and accurately while authoring test procedures and process instructions.
Maintain test equipment, facilities, and oversee the calibration process.

What we're looking for

Associate's degree in an electronics discipline or 2+ years of direct work experience in electronics.
1+ years of experience performing testing of electronics or electrical hardware.
1+ years of experience working with test fixtures, harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Ability to operate a spectrum analyzer, VNA, power meter, high-power amplifier, and oscilloscope.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with EMC/EMI standards such as FCC Part 15, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160G.
Ability to program simple scripts in Python for test logging and control.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
