What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software across the full development lifecycle for technology characterization and industry showcases.
Synthesize software designs based on high-level system requirements provided by system architects.
Provide engineering input on architecture, design trade-offs, schedules, and risk areas during technical reviews.
Perform on-target and off-target debugging to resolve functional, performance, and stability issues using standard embedded tools.
Optimize performance and timing constraints in real-time embedded systems.
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation including design descriptions, architecture specifications, and release notes.
Execute subsystem-level integration and testing to ensure overall system functionality.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree or 2 years of work experience in an Embedded Software Engineering field is preferred.
Proficiency in C/C++ programming and object-oriented software design and development.
Understanding of multi-threading and operating system fundamentals.
Experience debugging using tools such as gdb and perf, including log analysis to determine root causes.
Knowledge of network protocols, wireless systems, and frameworks like 5G NR, LTE, and 802.11.
Ability to analyze and optimize CPU utilization, latency, and throughput in real-time embedded systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills for collaborative environments.
