Electronic Warfare and Communications Analysis Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Provide technical expertise in communication systems and electronic warfare for DoD and joint research programs.
• Perform analysis and architecture design for physical layer communications and electronic support systems.
• Develop algorithms, simulations, and documentation for electronic attack and signal processing systems.
• Evaluate and model critical components to meet specific system requirements.
• Support proposal development and technical requirement management for defense projects.
• Implement complex modem and DSP circuits using FPGA devices or ASIC design.
• Perform laboratory debugging using digital scopes, logic analyzers, and other measurement devices.
• Develop hardware designs using VHDL/Verilog and high-speed serial interfaces.

What we're looking for

• A BSEE with 6+ years experience, MSEE with 4+ years experience, or PhD with 2+ years experience is required.
• Must possess a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience in Architecture, FPGA, VHDL, MATLAB, or C++/C# design (preferred).
• Experience in communication systems analysis and architecture focusing on the physical layer (preferred).
• Experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) systems analysis, Electronic Support (ES) architecture, and Electronic Attack Systems (preferred).
• Experience in algorithm development, simulation, documentation, and requirements analysis/management (preferred).
• Experience with high-rate, satellite, spread spectrum, software defined radios, and digital signal processing (preferred).
