As the Electrical Facilities Design Lead, you will lead a team of engineers to guide multiple electrical facilities subsystems from initial concept through final installation. What you'll do

  • Guide electrical facilities subsystems from initial concept through final installation in mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Lead technical discussions regarding architecture, requirements, and component selection for power distribution and grounding.
  • Perform critical engineering calculations including load calculations and arc flash analysis.
  • Conduct facility-wide electrical integration testing to ensure design verification and qualification.
  • Manage the design of UPS systems, emergency power, switchgear, and PDU integration.
  • Lead a team of engineers through complex, concurrent facility electrical projects while meeting budget and schedule constraints.
  • Ensure all designs comply with NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA safety standards.
  • Perform site assessments and travel to customer locations for field installations and evaluations.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in analyzing electrical facility systems, single-line diagrams, and power distribution schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA standards, and facility electrical safety requirements.
  • Experience with UPS systems, emergency power, switchgear, and PDU design and integration.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams of 3-4 engineers across complex, concurrent projects.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for customer sites and field installations.
