TL;DR · Lead Electrical Engineer (Printed Circuit Board Design)
Lead, Electrical Engineer (Printed Circuit Board Design) joins the engineering team to create, modify, review, and validate designs for rigid, flexible, and rigid-flex printed circuit boards. The role involves utilizing Mentor PADS and Expedition layout software to incorporate schematic, mechanical, and manufacturing inputs into complex HDI PCB designs featuring fine line and spaces, microvias, and stacked microvias. Key responsibilities include creating PCB stack ups, modeling controlled impedance, performing peer reviews, and developing design guidelines and best practices. The position requires mentoring less experienced designers and managing software upgrades while resolving fabrication and assembly issues through Valor NPI checks. Technical expertise is required in RF, digital, analog, power supply, and mixed technologies. This role addresses complex hardware challenges by ensuring high-quality PCB designs meet specific manufacturing requirements and technical specifications for advanced electronics.
