Electrical Engineer, Systems I/II (I&C)

What you'll do

• Develop system architecture concepts and evaluate competing technical alternatives.
• Create and maintain system models within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
• Elicit, manage, and validate equipment and interface requirements through multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Generate hardware specifications for circuit cards and integrated electrical instrumentation systems.
• Develop vendor statements of work and evaluate technical deliverables from external suppliers.
• Write technical manuals, procedures, and formal recommendations for customer review.
• Support system operational testing by developing test procedures and evaluating results.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support during ship construction and testing activities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering with a focus on Electrical.
• 1-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Experience in developing or maintaining industrial I&C systems (preferred).
• Defining and meeting functional and detail requirements (preferred).
• Experience planning and executing team projects (preferred).
• US Navy submarine service (preferred).
• Active DoD SECRET clearance (preferred).
