Systems Engineer I/II, Quality Assurance

What you'll do

• Lead investigations into quality deficiencies and develop recovery plans to resolve issues across multiple departments.
• Perform causal analysis and implement preventive actions for significant technical problems.
• Monitor, assign, and provide resolution support for all Corrective Action Requests at the Quonset Point facility.
• Manage the Quality Item Matrix (QIM) as a liaison to resolve construction issues between shipyards.
• Analyze data and develop quality metrics to improve first-time quality goals on the production floor.
• Support all quality audits, including certification, NDT, and NAVSEA 08 audits.
• Provide direct support for ship certification and module shipments.
• Participate in specialized working groups regarding SUBSAFE, DSS-SOC, and FBW SCS technical requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 0-5 years of postgraduate Engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret company policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and engineering-related software.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• Experience on cross-functional teams focused on problem resolution.
• Project Management or Systems Engineering experience; Master's degree, Quality/Systems Engineering experience, Root Cause Analysis, and knowledge of SUBSAFE/DSS-SOC/FBW SCS requirements (preferred).
