Electrical Engineer The Electrical Engineer joins the CoE Team to support the development of a new family of semiconductor process tool sensors. In this role, you will design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings while performing engineering analysis and generating test reports for product releases. Daily responsibilities include sensor transducer design and testing, analogue and digital circuit design, firmware development or validation, prototype bring-up, and managing PCB suppliers. You will work with architects and physicists to integrate hardware and embedded software into chamber systems. Required expertise includes semiconductor processes, vacuum process tools, laser/optics, and GHz/mm wave devices. Technical skills include using Orcad and Spice for schematic design and simulation, as well as experience with serial interfaces like I2C and SPI. You will also manage procurement and develop test criteria for micro-controller boards at supplier sites.
